EV Electric Vehicle Charging.
Government Grants For Fully funded, fully managed EV charging solutions
Right now, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is giving four grants to help fund electric cars and EV charging stations: The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) currently has four opportunities available:
- Plug-in Car Grant (PICG) - When purchasing a new low-emissions vehicle, you can save money by buying used.
- Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) - Discuss the cost of installing a charging station at home with your contractor.
- Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) - Charger installation is a large investment, and businesses should understand the implications of avoiding it.
- On-street Residential Chargepoint Scheme (ORCS) - On-street residential car chargers are being offered in many cities, but few have received the backing from local officials that Tesla has.

Government-funded incentive program.
This is a government-funded incentive program that aims to lower CO2 and toxic emissions generated by the automobile sector.
With the objective of replacing conventional diesel and petrol engines with electric cars, the UK government, along with other countries, has established tough targets and timeframes to achieve zero emission motoring by 2030.
The government has established a department called OZEV (Office for Low Emission Vehicles) to administer and implement the program.
- The Workplace Charge Scheme (WCS) was established to encourage UK companies to put Electric Vehicles into their fleets and make accessible EV car charge points for visitors and employees who already use these cars.
